S.V.D.L works by capturing SOCOM LAN traffic and than forwarding it to the server that then forwards it to everyone. There a lot more to it than that, but that is the basic concept.
PS2, or PS3 that can play PS2 games. A computer running S.V.D.L. That about it. The computer running the S.V.D.L software needs to be on the same network as your PS2/PS3. PS2/3 ether needs to be connected to your computer running S.V.D.L by Ethermet, or computer and PS2/3 both connected to the same network device by Ethernet.
You can use PCSX2 with SVDL, but we do not provoid technical support for setting PCSX2 itself. If you already have all of PCSX2 setup you can try typing /pcsx2 setup in the main chat if you are having issues seeing games.
You should create one with auto everything unless you know what you are doing. This should always work if PS2/3 is connected to commputer directly. If PS2/3 is connected to router there could be IP conflict in this case you would need manual configuration IP address if this is the case the SVDL client would show message in the text chat area with information about setting up manual configuration.
We recommand filling out a help request.
